I bought my new 2020 TRD off road yesterday! After 16 years of trouble free fun with my 2004, I couldn’t help but get a new one. I live in Idaho and its the perfect camping, hiking, hunting, fishing, off road, blizzard driving rig. So far, I ordered some wet Okole seat covers, dash mat, I know I know, but my dog puts his hands on the dash and he has wolf claws, and an RCI hi lift jack mount as my 4xrac won’t work without drilling.

On the short list is a camper shell, brake controller, Yaesu FTM 400 ham radio, and air bags.

Cant wait to go on some amazing adventures!

Thank you, sir. It was between white and quicksand. It was a tough choice but I thought I might get tired of the quicksand. My last Tacoma was white and it’ll match all my coworkers trucks.

Just to be a PIA, is your bed offset to one side? Looks to be more favored to the passenger side... My 2020 is, I plan to adjust once I get round to it.

Super White looks great on the third gen trucks. Unfortunately it’s a bit thin and prone to chipping. I highly recommend adding ceramic coating to your short list, just after the topper.

I did it because I want this truck to last the next 10+ years and hope it still looks nice. Bonus is how clean it gets with just a power washer and the windshield stays pretty clean in the winter.

This is the day I got it back from the customs shop after the annual maintenance of the coating:

Good to hear, supposedly not a hard thing to fix.
I guess it was just the angle and dangle from where I was sitting

Bought mine recently also. First brand new car I’ve ever purchased and glad it was a taco!

Is this something that any paint/ body shop would offer or is it done at a detail shop? I dig it and want mine to look and last until it dies.

this one is called the Slimline from Southern Style Offroad. It’s awesome and well made. Just make sure you do the trimming properly or whoever will be doing the install. Smittybilt winch is great because it’s waterproof and has a wireless remote - plus it’s much better priced than the warns

I got this installed and leveled the front on Bilstein 6112s in the front and 5160 rears. Ride is excellent
