    Back to cutting logs today . Picked up a new chainsaw chain and files. Swap chains out and do a good cleaning, inspection, little lube , and then I should be ok. . Two big oak trees to cut and haul. No serious time limit. So that’s good. Also talked to a lady that said she has some big logs at her moms house I can take. She thinks it’s oak or maple. Gun a check that out too.
    Looks like I could have 4-5 cords of free firewood. Just gotta do the work.

    One can never ‘retire’ from being a mechanic apparently. Rebuilt her starter for $16 (brush kit) after Honda quoted $900 for replacing it. The word is out. I swear I’ve fixed almost every damn weed eater and chainsaw on our street. I like fixing stuff!
