Hey guys, I’ve been looking around on the forums for how to reset the VSC and calibrate it but the instruction that are given don’t work on the 2020. The pins for the OBD2 connector are different on the new Tacoma’s. Was wondering if anyone could tell which pin is which or has a solution to this. Btw, just lifted the truck so that’s why it’s throwing those codes i guess.

Hello there I just purchased a 2020 Off road with the Pre-collision system and read that even if you change tire size Toyota wants you to shut it off which is a pain in the ass because you have to do it every time you start the truck! I kept rims and tires off my old taco and want to lift the new one but as I have read from your post the truck doesn’t like that, what kind of lights came on in the dash? Sorry I can’t be of any help with you current problem but I’ll see if I can find anything out in my travels. Welcome to TW world man love that voodoo blue color!

I put 255/85/16s on my 2020 which is 8% larger than stock tires and I’ve had no issues or dash lights regarding the PCSS or lane departure alert. Also had my windshield replaced with no issues. The dealer wants $300 and three hours to recalibrate which my insurance will pay for but I’m too lazy to wait that long

Thank you for the information! Did you lift your truck to get those tires in there? I have 265/75/16 k02’s I’m planning on using but was a little apprehensive to lift after reading the manual and after reading of @Voodoo_azula issues.

Plans of a lift soon. Already put bigger rubber on without issues.

So this is what pops up and still hasn’t gone away. A person in a local Tacoma group off facebook said he’s confident he can recalibrate with 2019 software so I’ll be updating you guys with how that works if it does lol753F5119-C238-47B5-A768-28916A40026A.jpgA9EDEF5C-9F17-4576-A601-41781B322FA6.jpg

No lift but i have the stock OR rims which i think has a +25 offset that can accommodate that size with little/no rubbing

Interesting...I had this exact same issue on my 2019 TRD OR...at 9,500 miles, while we were towing our small TT from Tucson.

Same system message popped up, and an audible alarm sounded every 10 minutes or so. PITA...

Took it to the local dealer (Larry H. Miller in Peoria) and they "re-calibrated" my Tacoma...no issues since. A bit concerning, since the service advisor explained it away as just a "normal thing." Stock tires and wheels BTW...

Alright fellas so this one is the shops fault for aligning my shit wrong . I originally went to a tire shop to get my truck aligned but i took it to a friend who works at a dealership and he told me that the reason the lights were on was because the steering wheel wasn’t straight and was reading a couple degrees off center. So he fixed it and cleared the codes. But I’m running a 2.5 Old man Emu lift with 888 coils and a heavy duty pro comp add a leaf. Needles to say, this is probably the best and smoothest lift I’ve ever ran in a truck!
