Upon further inspection it seems my tie rod is OK... Can't find a tear anywhere on the boot and I recall now that I had two CV axle boots tear on that side over the last several months and grease got everywhere... It's likely just left over grease that I didn't clean well enough

I'm wondering now if maybe my rack bushings need to get swapped. The whole rack seems to move when the pop happens, had a buddy turn the wheel while I was under it. Guessing that points to the bushings

Things break when you actually use your truck and don't treat it like the 8th wonder of the world :luvya: (not you)

As far as being a lemon goes this truck has not once ever failed to start or get home from trails and to work every day the past 4 years/60k miles... Considering what I put it through I'd say that's pretty far from unreliable

I will pull mine and send it to Zuk for the installation. Then he returns it and I install it.

Sounds like an absolute gold mine. Sounds like a great place and folks to have some rapport established

Told you, would've easily bought yours just before I joined the site.

I had scrolled through and ran into 4x4 conversions which led me to getting a Prerunner. Otherwise yours was an easy choice :boink:

I would too if I came across one in as good condition as I found this truck in, but those t4rs are incredibly hard to find in good shape/low miles
