    yeah i almost cried when I heard the crunch. luckily the rack did what it was supposed to do. the bike fell and caught itself on the cross bars. I was only going about 15 mph. just a few nice scratches to the roof of my brand new car :( got that first scratch that kills you a little inside out of the way. And the shifter displays got smashed up. no cracked welds on the bike luckily.

    yeah i hear it happening all the time.. before I had the roof rack i would laugh when i heard it happen to someone.... now i know how easy it is. :eek: I just put a little note in my car on the gauges saying "Bikes?"

    my fork isnt snapped.... at least I hope. I am getting ready to take it off here and inspect it. if it is... luckily its a cheapo fork and I get to spend some money on a nicer one. :cool:
