Mobtowns new rack meant to work with a softopper. Can work with or without one, and has two bolts at each leg for which removal. Upper part of the rack is maybe 50 lbs.

You can see the bolts I’m talking about here.

Thanks, I’m digging the shit out of it. One of the guys there yesterday during the little photo shoot was like “this makes me want to sell my Nissan and buy a taco and buy a softopper and buy that rack.”

    He really liked it

Randall. Sweet picture. I know see your madness behind not wanting to pain the wheels. Truck looks great. I would have only done 1 thing differently in preparation for the pictures.

I would like to see the rest of the photos. If I needed a rack I'd buy this one for the features alone. I like the round tube look a lot more than square.

Put new bump stops in the rear. I had long cheap ones and cut them to length, but because geometry and shit I learned I cut them too short. So I put new ones on. I also got the truck loaded up for my trip next weekend. All that’s left is to load up my gear and I’ll be set.

Oh they W as fuck and that top leaf is permanently bent in true Dakar style. From what I've seen on here as well as my previous packs it's very common for Dakars to look horrendous during normal operation. These leafs have lived a rough 18 months, but they're still holding weight so I'll keep them on for now.
