USCe vs Vandy: Won in 09, lost in 08, lost in 07, won in 06, won in 05

Had to look that up since USCe isn't usually on my radar. In recent years, I've only had to keep up with Florida. They're the only East team we play every year. And they've been dominant.

he's right man, look at the standings thus far. Not hating on Georgia, yall still have a good shot at the SECC game now with SC losing.

i think it would be hilarious if UGA makes it to the SECCG over SC...but then on the other hand...

if it ends up Bama/UGA then i'd have to listen to the chickens talk about how theyre actually the SEC champions because they beat both of those teams...just like how when Ohio St won the NC a few years back...chickens just kept on and on about how they were the last team to beat them before they went undefeated...

I must say, hats off to McNeese for coming in and playing one hell of a game against LSU in Death Valley. They came to play and gave LSU a workout, well played guys! And for Arkansas.. yall had Auburn in your sights! but Cam Newton is a beast and thats a hard offense to keep from scoring.

Yea, sport, that's why I said even if it is Vandy. We've beat 2 bottom feeders of the SEC this year, but we still won. And in my other post I said it'd be tough to win out. I understand one game at a time, "champ".

Wow number 5. Now if TCU and and couple of other teams will fall, and Auburn beats the hell out of LSU, Auburn has a chance:D

Auburn & LSU are the only two remaining SEC teams that control their own destiny. If either finishes undefeated, they will play for the BCS national championship. As much debate there is about putting a one-loss SEC team in, undefeated is a shoe in. You don't need the rest to happen.

It's not impossible if u watch it every weekend. Ohio state proved it's possible to mess up and let their opponent beat them. Same with Nebraska. And yes Oregon and Boise State are good but anything can happen. If it does, which is not unlikely looking at there is still weeks of football left, Auburn will get bumped up. And yes Auburns defense is not the greatest but it did pull us out of tht game w Arkansas and Cam Newton plus the offense is not easy to be stopped. War Eagle!

Opponent records for teams in the top 5:
    Oregon -- 13-24
    Boise State -- 16-24
    Auburn -- 25-20
    Oklahoma -- 23-16
    TCU -- 24-26

Actually thinking if Auburn can beat LSU next week, we'll definitely be in the top 2 in the BCS.

Auburn's beat 3 top 25 teams. Can anyone else say that?

I honestly have to say that was the most depressing game to attend in a long time. I've seen Texas beat Nebraska here before, but at least it was an exciting game those times. It was horrible. From T-bagic rocking the intentional grounding in the first drive, to Kinnie and Paul and being completely incapable of catching a ball all game. That pooch punt return was just a cruel joke for fans in the 4th quarter, all it did was get us excited for more disappointment.

It was sad to see that our 3rd string quarterback was able to move the ball better than our 1st string who had all that hype around him.

Overall, I wish I had just saved the money I blew on that travesty and just had gotten drunk in the bars or at home, at least I could have watched a different game or turned the tv off. The Huskers did a damn good job at blowing a good thing, and sadly, I had a feeling it would happen. It just seemed like all of the fans, players, coaches, etc went into the game with the attitude that we could not beat Texas, and they seemed to fulfill it.

Now if we can just get Oklahoma to blow two big 12 games, and get Texas and Nebraska to actually win the next couple of weeks. Maybe we can get a 11th chance to beat Texas. But I'm not holding my breath on Nebraska winning at Oklahoma State in 6 days.
