Sigh as I thought didn’t work. I figured didn’t hurt to try without the O2 sim. ordered the mini cell fix that @henryp mentioned. Hopefully that works

ive got a cutter and installer (the remover i use for other projects so i cant part with that) that can be sent to you for shipping as part of a community tool exchange.
@12TRDTacoma we should start a community tool exchange thread for this sort of stuff. and SIA items.

I agree. We should. Let me see if I can create a new thread for 4.0 supercharged and NA community exchange items which I will post up on page 1.

I meant to check for it this morning before I left, but I’m pretty sure it is among all my truck parts awaiting install. I’ll check this evening.

Just installed the belt drive and thermostat spacers for my supercharger.

I noticed the hose is pretty close to the fan is this about right for every one?

Thanks for all your help Tacoma world. I’m chiming in with my personal opinion right now. I made some changes to my truck and ended up liking and not liking some things so I thought I would share. First off when I installed my csf radiator I installed the lower Hps hose. I originally said it was all good but it’s a pain to get the tensioner off and on for belt changes. Went back to oem. Also did some snout cutting and went down to 2.6. I planned on installing the Steeda tensioner at same time but decided not to. Right now belt changes are extremely easy with only a breaker bar. Done from bottom. There’s not much extra room between the fan. with the Steeda on it’s a guarantee I’ll be pulling the shroud and fan Making the belt change a little more laborious. So I’m running the stock tensioner with no problems or issues. I also ended up with the Green k120702 and made two belts with it. Also I found this belt on eBay for 60 bucks And it was 130 locally. So roughly 30 bucks a belt. I haven’t read every page on this thread so I apologize if this is redundant.

thanks for the feedback. So you were able to use the HPS lower and clear everything, just interferes with releasing the tensioner?

Yes with a couple of on and offs and a couple cuts it went on fine. Clearance was close but fine. Taking the tensioner off was a mild pain. Flexing the hose out of the way. But trying to get it back on once and I laughed and dug the oem out and reinstalled.

what’s different about the HPS vs the OEM that makes it harder?

The oem is routed differently and it easily clears the tensioner
The HPS sits and presses right on the tensioner
