I can confirm that Spring is coming. We just returned from a short trip to San Antonio. Temperatures were in the mid-80's during the day. The grass or what they call grass in San Antonio was green. Spring might take some time to travel north to @MQQSE , but its coming.

We had a good time. We ate dinner on the River Walk one night and did the tourist thing visiting Frederickburg. We visited Luckenbach, Texas (made famous by Waylon and Willie) and spent some time listening to an open air country music concert.

Great flights in and out of San Antonio. Got patted down in Denver by TSA, they wanted to know what I had around my ankles. I replied socks and that answer was good enough to get me patted down.

    Enjoy the day All

    Cheers 4BYTOY

Looks like it'd make a cool hood ornament on that Green taco of yours.

I'm generally awake by 4:30 at the latest - normally around 4....and I still have an occasional drink.

I made it until about 3:50 this morning. Already walked and fed the dogs, had my first cup of coffee, read the paper and now going for the second cup of coffee. This is my favorite time of the day.

Saw a flock of 40 or so Robins in the backyard - Spring is almost here...and had the first case of Covid-19 diagnosed in PA about 5 miles from us.

Tomorrow the temp is supposed to be almost 60! Looking forward to getting outside and starting the Spring cleanup!

Good Morning Folks:wave:. Up at 5:30 this morning. Been retired 5 years and have slept in past 6 twice only when I was under the weather. Old habits are hard to break, but like Mark said it's my favorite time of the day. Quiet time and coffee :D.

    Good morning Susan, gang,
I quit getting up at 4 or 4:30 after retiring, made the day too long, finding something to do. Up before 6 now to catch the morning news on the radio. Get to bed now after 10:30PM, changed from 8 as I don't sleep well, awake at 1AM, so has helped with sleeplessness after midnight. Of course when I fall asleep at night watching TV, I could try to get some more sleep anywhere from midnight to 3:30, takes a long time to fall back asleep. Come Spring and Summer, I start getting up earlier to go jogging a couple times a week. I need to start running again, quit last October when I had some respiratory thing trying to get ahold of me. Have a good day.
Thought Elizabeth Warren's excuse for no support was lame, don't blame others.

What awesome pictures!! That vehicle looked mighty familiar. When I deployed my battalion to Bosnia back in '96 we had control of several mountain OPs - one took about 1.5 hours to drive up and we had SUSVs to make the trips up/down in the winter.

Morning all!! Looks to be a beautiful day here in northeast PA after a windy/cold one yesterday. Enjoy!!

Ooops! The trip up the mountain in Bosnia was 1.5 hours...not miles. Just a slight difference.
