This looks cool, but my question would be how hot the tailgate gets while it cooks. Would it cause problems?

+1. This has been my experience as well. AVS in channel and no problems or scratches for that matter. Had approximately 3 or 4 months.

Changed the time for daylight saving time. Surprised there isn’t already a mega thread on the disappointment in the failure of Toyota to make this automatic. Much bigger issue then placing 4wd control to close to climate control.

I don't know if you're messing around, but if you're being serious, mine changes on it's own. (Sometimes sarcasm is hard to detect).

Finished the Diamondback HD/Front Runner Rack combo off with a pair of 1Up bike racks.

Will move them up to the Victory 4x4 Roof Rack (that I still need to install :() when I use the RTT.

Stupid question, I've read somewhere that those rack's have to be custom ordered/built? Is that true or is there a part number? This is my main reason for wanting to go with the diamondback. Looks great btw!

Not a stupid question at all. If you want the set-up that Mike from LLOD has, you do have to call or talk to the guys at Frontline and they’ll put it together. It’s not a normal rack package but not difficult to get or set-up. You can get it with 2 or 3 bars and it’s very easy to set-up. The most difficult part is prepping to drill into your Diamondback. Measure twice, drill once...LOL:thumbsup:

I must have a twisted mind because I see nothing wrong with washing a grill in the bathtub. :anonymous:

I did the same while prepping mine for paint, only I used Dawn and alcohol. (I wasn't removing Plasti Dip, just getting it clean)

    It came out pretty nice.
