I did everything behind the tail light, all i needed to do was pull a fused 10ga lead from the eng compartment to the relay. (10ga because i have plans for larger eletrical system back there.

relay, hot wire and distribution block are behind the tail light.

Edit: i think i missed your question. yes, you can find the wire in the front, or run it from the back. Finding it in the front is easier. Schimatics for your truck are easy to come by.

@DSIM is your module negative or positive switched? Anyone else can chime in if they now the answer. I would appreciate it.

The DSIM module converts the negative dimmer circuit to a 12v+ signal

I have a rock light setup with a relay and CH4x4 switch. I tap the yellow wire into Red1 exactly like the diagram, but the module is not working. My switch still works like before I tap the wire. Anybody has any idea why the module is not working?

Sorry for the delay. One man show here and we're in the process of moving to a different city.

Should be in the mail Monday morning if all goes to plan. You'll get an automatic email notification with shipping info when I acknowledge the order.

So I have some rock lights from Amazon I don’t specifically remember the brand but they don’t have a switch because they’re wireless so all they have is separate outputs to singular rock lights, ground, and power to battery with fuse so where would I connect the module?

What doesn’t work? The rock module? Or the puddle lights? Or the switch?

Check the fuse inside the enclosure. If you are not using a relay for the rock lights you may have blown the fuse.
