That's one of the cleanest that I have seen too. And I dig the color combo for some reason.

 

Don't see those very often. I've only ever seen one with steering wheel on the correct side(left).
Funny to see no rear or front locker but it got an LSD in rear. Looks like one of those options we didn't get here

I've seen a red and gray factory two tone on an 80 series. It was a 93 or 94 I believe. But I know it exists, just have only seen it once

 

I'm seeing Range Rover Discovery SUVs listed on FB market place in the $2,000 range. That must be an "interesting to maintain" vehicle.

 

Oh man.... I accepted doing a fuel pump on one and never again will I do repair or even maintenance on em. No thanks. There's a reason a simple light pickup, like a Tacoma, from the same vintage goes for 3 to 5 times those prices even though those Discos were like double the price new. I can't believe th.... I'll exercise holding my tongue of negative things to say, and I'll leave it at that

I'll say it
Range Rovers are high maintenance.
And I don't mean oil change and lube.
Lot's of cheap ones on the market with "MINOR" repairs needed and "Just needs a little TLC"

That guy is on glue if he wants $35,000 for an M82 retail unit. An M82 isn’t worth nearly that much, you can buy one for about $1,000. The cabinet maybe makes it worth more, but nowhere near $35k.

 

For sure.. I don't have that kind of patience.

I have a buddy with a shop that has turned into the local British Car / BMW / Merc specialist.

He's the place for overly complicated "hopeless case" repair. He gets about $250 an hour to patch em back together. I saw enough of British Leyland growing up as a teenager working at an import dealership. Don't worry about me going there.

I agree that it's mind blowing how quickly the Rover stuff drops big time in value

 

So glad I pulled the plastic Engine cover off my year old riding mower and blew out the critter nest before firing it up and mowing. I sure miss that V twin 21hp Intec that caught fire

Nah I wasn’t really into it. Worked after school everyday so I didn’t really get time to fool with anything
