Sadly I was in a minor fender bender.

(Other persons fault in a parking lot)

Long story short, her insurance is not complying, anyone have a spare lower bumper guard they want to sell (non painted or white)?

I mean, not trying to blow this out of proportion but...typically (as long as you have some evidence) insurance not complying = lawsuit. They'll comply right the fuck up.

Is there any damage, or is it just hanging? Can you use Goop to glue it back into place?

She admitted fault when we called on scene to file claim. Not sure what the hold up is?

Back to the topic, just looking to see if anyone has a spare lower before I opt out and purchase new.

There’s a few gashes to it and I believe the clips/tabs on the opposite end are broken off, as well as the license plate bracket.

(Broke fireman here, looking for a better alternative lol)

I would look for hidden damage. We all know how fragile Tacos are.

Most insurance companies require police report when filing a claim. I would start with that.

PD stated some BS about it being private property since it happened @ a grocery store parking lot.
Even pulled the ol’ common courtesy call to come out for a first responder. More BS was stated as her vehicle didnt have damage, all vehicles were drivable w no bodily injuries etc.

Has anyone on here used the certifit replacement part? Wondering how well it’ll line up since its about 35-40% cheaper than OEM replacement...

I wonder if PD would provide a written statement to that reasoning and submit that with claim. This doesn’t seem right.

A few months ago, my wife & I are at Lowe’s on a very windy day. My wife opened her car door and hit the car parked next to us, leaving a very small dent. We exchanged info. Driver put in claim on our insurance. Total cost to fix very small door dent was a thousand dollars.

It's not right. I'd like to know what reason her insurance is giving for not complying.

You should always check to make sure nobody is in the vehicle before doing that.
