Not yet. For now I will keep the dakar leafs with OME's AAL. Eventually, when I figure out what high(er) end shocks I want in the rear (these Icon's are placeholders) I'll look closer into getting custom Alcans most likely

Friction ring like @cruiserguy mentioned and @Uphillshunter validated, I'm just double validating

I've chucked off several leaf spring bolts, multiple wheels on a few trucks, as well as doing a pick n pull run on an old truck. Finally went through the small battery it came with.

Can't imagine how long the bigger 5AH battery will last which I have 2 of but have yet to use.

I learned that apparently the bigger battery gives also a bigger peak torque as well. I had always thought it was just length of run time that was extended.
Something to do with the lithium cells they used in the newer batts or something? Dude smarter than me explained it on here lol:D

Higher draw provided by the larger cells/higher discharge rate?

Good example, my Nitecore flash light (only cause I was using it last night).

It has this turbo mode that's brighter than a mother fucker. Anyway, my rechargeable 18650 has the ability to discharge much faster than two CR123 batteries which allows me to run turbo mode. Turbo mode draws a lot of power, and rapidly, and causes the glass to get over 150 deg.

i would also be replacing the strut mounts, i can save some good coin buying those parts wholesale vs the mechanic list price + markUp
i don't think they are real crusty, i try to hose them off routinely of winter slop and don't let it sit and cook, but i am sure some has found its way into tight spots around there

This is how me and another guy did mine. Real easy to swap coils and not sketchy in any way.

That's the only way I've ever done it. You got to be a moron to really fuck it up and get hurt.

If your lbj bolts are crusty I imagine it could get frustrating but otherwise its pretty foolproof.

Oil change, it involved a hammer because it had been so long since it was changed.
If we go off of Toyota owners it was 26K miles between oil changes but I know I forgot to log at least one oil change.

:amen: to this. I have many high quality expensive tools. I've bought almost all of them used. Buy good quality expensive brands BUT buy used and you get helluva deal on them that way and you got tools that work well and last
