    @Tour991

    Still going to need those stock Tacoma alloy wheels?

    Asking because I went to my storage last week, and they're taking quite a bit of room and I need to pull a few thousand rounds of ammo lol

    You’ll never see a 4WD Tacoma. Like I said, that 4WD one you saw was probably one of two I’ve ever seen with four years of Row52 alerts.

    4WD 4Runners are everywhere you won’t have an issue finding those.

    Yeah I've seen a few pop up; was kind of interested in a decent set of front seats out of those.

    Wondering if you use any other site to alert you of said vehicles?

    There are some little towns in southern MO (just over the border) that are making it financially advantageous for people to move up from AR to get their populations increased to support Fire Departments and City utilities. I wouldn't mind living there at some point.

    Many years ago I lived in a town named Mtn. Home that was in Baxter County. Back then the county had 25,000 people. Roughly 5,000 were original AR folks. Then the other 20,000 were from Chicago suburbs/ Cook County IL. So there are spots where its clusters of people from other parts of the US that move in to enjoy lower taxes and real-estate prices. Bentonville and surrounding areas have a lot of technology people from CA that came to the area in the past 10 years. Things are changing fast.

    Row52 is the only one. Keep in mind these junkyards probably have 4Runners in stock already. Just look it up on their site.

    Yeah I remember seeing some, when you had asked about axle shafts, but the interiors were pretty rough.

    I may go one day if I have time to kill, otherwise no need.

    I saw one complete, but with no rear locker.

    I did run into one with a locker, but the drive shaft, 3rd member, and axle shafts were already stripped from it.

    I remember texting Tyler, asking if he'd need anything from other vehicles there.

    Speaking of, I have a complete set of manual hubs stripped down that I've yet to rebuild :facepalm:

    More common in your neck of the woods because you actually need 4WD there. Most people don’t need 4WD in suburban California. 95% of 1st Gens here are 5-Lugs.

    The Camry lost fuel as it rolled into my driveway. Really glad I had a bunch of extra 24Fs ready to get it home.

    well i do believe im going to bite the bullet and buy the Rear Disc brake kit for the Tacoma.. 2007 FJ rear brakes will match the fronts well. And they make the adapter to use a sequoia master that will keep the pedal feeling factory. i just cant bring myself to put all this work into this truck and still have drums in the rear.

    Oh the PreRunners and 4x4’s usually go to specially junkyards or repaired. The 5-Lugs are worthless so they go to Pick-n-Pull.

    @cruiserguy and @Speedytech7

    I'm thinking about putting the 470's build thread on TW in the Toyota Trucks and SUVs section. I really like the TW site. I think TW has very thoughtfully arranged sections. It has a test post section. The TW editor is easy to use. I haven't been able to warm up to the Mud site editor and search engine like I should.
