Yup if you go out to Midwest tinting they will talk to you and help you make the best choice they are the only place I will get vinyl work or window tinting done anymore

 

Yeah, I've seen their work which is why I was planning on going through them. I have a vinyl guy that does stuff much cheaper than they would though, and he comes to you. He does work for Adam's Toyota and other dealerships around the state. I wonder if he does tinting. I considered getting a cheap Corolla with whatever color then wrapping it since it would end up costing around the same as finding a good car in the color I want. He's the one who helped me put my Yoyoya sticker on, lol.

 

I gotcha lol I don’t do much vinyl work tbh I had them tint my headlights and fog lights about it so far I do plan to get the roof black and black out the chrome buuuut trailer stuff haha

 

I think a black hood and roof would be dope but too hot, lol. I'll prob tint/smoke my own lights when I get there. I was going to do a powder coat on my calipers buuuut I think I might just paint them myself to make sure I like the color first because I'm going a bit bold. Other than that, that's about all I have planned. I want white wheels, but I'll prob just keep the stock alloys; they're pretty nice. I'm a bargain bitch.

 

Ya the black roof might make it a bit warmer but it looks cool so worth it! Haha and I’ve thought about painting my calipers but i kinda want the accord brake kit so the car will stop better I kinda wanna auto cross the si lol

 

At least painting the calipers is cheap and easy. There's a clip we were watching the other day where MCM does them still attached lol.
The ultimate goal is to make a car that's a tad different, so it's still me
But dump the real money into the truck

I feel you I would like to make my car a bit different but that’s hard af since the civic is very common but at least I got a coupe that’s not super common lol

 

I don't mind having a common car by any means, just needs a lil personal flare. I don't know how people can do the lease thing, or own a car and not like, slap a sticker on it or... something at least

When I got this car I ordered 2 stickers right away and slapped a razer sticker on the trunk lid while I waited for the NIN and Disturbed stickers in the mail, lol. The whole, green hubcap, circle punch, yoyoya thing was not the direction I was originally aiming for, haha.

 

Haha ya I gotcha my car has one sticker and that’s it I don’t like many sticker on it I like how clean it looks lol my truck is littered with stickers outside and inside lol

My friend's dad does it and said he would have charged me $180.

@Slashaar what's your swaybar setup? Is that a quick disconnect, or just a heim joint with no bolt?

Nope, nothing on our truck today; just helping out! Had a really great time today! New suspension on the bus, @Mrs2Fang made carnitas, I made a boozy cake, and I'm just gonna pop in my gift for old man birthday too

 

That makes sense. I'm becoming increasingly jealous of the 4Runner suspensions and other components.

 

DP got ADS fronts last week, no swar bar of any kind......

The bus...... @Mrs2Fang 's 4Runner got the Fox's off DP, and new 2.0 reservoir rears. The sway bar links are @mstudt custom links.
Heims with extended links in the rear.

 

I like the 4Runner links. I miss the availability of quick disconnect swaybar links that my Jeeps had. I'm not committed to removing it completely on my truck, but I'd like the option. Does @mstudt make them for 2nd gens or have plans for any? I could probably order heims and tap some hex stock to make a pair, but I'm trying to avoid new projects lol

 

He makes them for pretty much all the toyotas I think. There are a couple sites but he is more on the 4Runner forums.
He also makes disco links.....
