What have you done to your Tacoma today? 1st Gen Edition

250 bucks for just the tool??? Oh I see, they're throwing in a 5.0ah battery and charger? I really don't know but I think those batteries go for like a hundred bucks or something crazy. So if it was 150 bucks for just the tool, that doesn't seem outta line but I really haven't shopped them in quite a few years

 

I got mine off Facebook Market.

Tool was $160
2 High Output batteries and charger was $80

The older I get the more speciality tools I just go buy and magically the projects go easier and with less drama.

 

my 19yr old nephew helped me to figure out how to finally get the wireless borescope to connect with the chuwi tablet so i can get2 some interior frame scoping conquered at last and find out where the heck these delaminated paint chips been coming from and wot i must do to protect the truck from winter monster

managed to get my old crippled arse under the taco today to squirm around for the first time since early december after a long, semi-cold winter with not much snow accumulation (2 or 3 inches if that) which is well below average with the 3rd driest February on record here, but its supposed to rain well tomorrow, first sig rain in over 3 months
checked on the CF 3K spray used on the rubber undercoating under the cab and rockers, looks real sweet & black still like a million bucks, near like-new under there!!

also was digging around with finger in frame and found some fresh taco chips

 

My Tacoma took me out hiking today. I see a lot of beautiful west coast scenery in this thread, thought I’d share some from the other side of this great country:

Yessir, Foothills of the Appalachians, I spotted a couple on the hike up but I had no fishing gear....or a trout license for that matter. Would’ve made for a good post for the TW smoked meat thread.

 

Trout fishing in NC is such a pita unless you do it all the time. So many stupid rules and regulations.

 

You ain’t kidding. We think very highly of our mostly farm raised then released trout in NC.

 

And 9/10 times I just get pissed off and have my fly/lure stuck in a tree.

I was up in Roanoke today, they stocked the river that runs through the city last week, lots of guys out fishing today. And from what I understand it a lot less hassle to do it in VA.

 

Yeah I am aware of the stock prices lol...i was considering the plastic jb weld and epoxy lol
