    Finally found the stupid Valet Switch on my alarm! Have an 07 Taco with a Code Alert CA-1051 alarm. Been looking for the valet switch since I bought the truck last Monday.

    The switch was finally located in front of the fuse panel. You have to remove the change drawer to access it. Not very convenient if you ask me.

    My first mod will be relocating the switch!

    gotcha...just wondered do you have all wireless stuff off. or run a lota LED stuff.....I dont use my radio at all, other then for my I tunes.....and have a pretty good Kenwood ......no issues ,,the CB on the other hand was a mess and required some filtering, mostly for on hi way use from other vevicles, off road its fine (dont use it on road unless its a trip to Va etc) tnx for da reply...BTW think it looks good also :amen:

    Got my other door lock actuator motor replaced in under an hour after it took me about 5 to replace the first one. Then I took my fur baby for a ride.

    Maybe they would sell you the plates without the bolt installed?
    Or you might be able to use the quickfist mount plate. I believe you can mount a hilift using those as well.

    If you go that route you wold also need to cut down the height as it probably won't fit under the lip for your cap.

    Probably not quite as stiff with the bottom of the mount not tight to the side of the bed if you go that route.

    ARB snorkle with a AEV top hat.....not crazy with the inlet from ARB...was a little concerned with a heavy wet sno...the top hat does have a spinner that may or may not help throw dust/dirt out to the side ....and think the hat is a little less likely to catch a limb on the trail...
