Will this require any relearning of the actual remote start module? Does the remote start module need to
Be unplugged and relearned? Or will it be fine to disconnect the battery?

If you have a Fortin control module for your remote start (most are) the answer is no...but if you step on the brake and the gas at the same time when the engine is running, truck in drive and it kicks on the abs and trac light then you will have to repeat the relearn procedure for the remote start to work again. So disconnecting the battery no problem...Step on the brake and the gas at the same time and kick on the mention lights that will lock out the Fortin module from the start circuit and relearn procedure would be required.
