Black Toyota Emblem?

So I just put clear corner lights in and de badged the truck. I ordered some black 2nd gen badges and Im gonna put them on soon. Should I black out the front toyota symbol or leave it?

 

Where did you get the black badges? The dealer I talked to said they only made them in chrome.

 

I would make them black.

X-Runner badges? Those are color matched...

 

Some people buy them and paint them black and then turn and sell them on ebay.

I got the black badges at shoptrd.com It was like $100 for the tacoma on both doors and the tailgate plus the small toyota for the tailgate. Thanks!

Thanks. Btw i already have blue leds that come on when you open the doors on the floor mats and the step bar if you have the switch i installed on so im gonna go off that and put some leds behind the logo. should look pretty sweet

three coats of krylon fusion specialty plastic.....then three coats of clear

it look sbetter up close and with my real camera......this was droid camera

 

normally i would say black, but with a black grill too, who is going to see it? you need the contrast to see it from more than a few feet away.
