Trans Wisconsin Adventure Trail. It's a series of dirt and gravel roads connected by scenic highways that stretches from the southwestern corner of the state up to Ashland County.

We'll be running one of the best sections, from Lansing, Iowa to Potosi, Wisconsin.

I haven't seen the northernmost section yet. I might check it out this year, though.

The section with road 327 (Pinstripe road) wasn't very exciting. Maybe the section north of Clam Lake is better. I hope to find out soon.

The part we're going through in April has multiple water crossings (depending on rainfall) and some really great scenery.

I might try to run from Point Detour campground down to Clam Lake in May. I'll be in Hayward fishing for a week, so I'll just hit the road on a rainy or cold day when I don't feel like fishing. Looking at the aerial images, it looks like some sand and gravel roads.

    I’ve got arb portable.

don’t waste your money on a cheap compressor or it’ll take you 20 minutes a tire… if the compressor survives.

anyone one of these are good
arb single or twin or viair 400p automatic

and don’t forget to make my inflate deflate tool

Like @Shellshock and @ajmogen said, nothing difficult. There's a little mud in a few spots and a few very small water crossings, all very easy. It's just a fun ride.

I was looking at this Viair set-up:

VIAIR 200 PSI Ultra Duty Onboard Air System https://www.amazon.com/dp/B001L7UX0S/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_hUtzEb1H78YE4

It's not much more expensive than the "constant duty" kit, and sounds pretty decent to me.

Maybe I'll give it a shot.

It’s pretty regardless of the time. You just won’t have fall colors when it’s not fall.
