Very similar but doesn't stick down so far on the inside.

But the screen is cool. I might fab up something for mine because I did catch a bee today. I have no clue how long he was in there.

Yeah I’m more worried about clearance outside since my tent is mounted pretty low. Not crazy about cutting a hole in the top of my shell but the dust gets pretty bad back there with all the gaps in the bed.

Have you had a chance to try the vent to see how well it works?

NVM read your post again. I’m in Nevada so same issue with desert dust.

It hits my Front Runner rack but doesn't seem to affect its performance. You can see how low it sits in the second photo I attached. Its pretty low. I should also mention its spring loaded and has to be opened a little more than an inch maybe two for it to stay open. The opening and closing force is quite a bit so I don't foresee it closing itself on a bump or something.

Cheers from the south end! I will be in RNO for work tomorrow for the day. I am going to the shooting range between Carson and RNO for a long "lunch" lol. If your ever down here send a note and I will give you the 10¢ tour.

If it’s the public range in Carson they have super limited hours now due to the neighbors complaining. I think it might be only weekends.

Actually looks like they’re fully closed for construction right now.

Thanks for that. I think I made a decision (it’s just not quiet for me, I think it’s the ripple/rounded corners), I was considering it because of the color matched option but I think I already fell in love with the alucab design (I like the boxy shape, more utilitarian) that I’d need more to pull me in.

my fiberglass is probably just shy of 200lbs so the light weight is a bonus and I’ll keep in mind about that vent (but I live in Fl so don’t have that much of that problem as you). I agree on the fact the front fold down window will be a option that’s hard to give up though (but I made due on my last shell without it).
