There are way too many factors, just giving it a quick glance.
    because there are
    $00:Unused,$01:OL,$02:CL,$04:OLDrive,$08:OLFault,$10:CLFault

and code sections for different bit flags on this ram.
it would take me a while sorry.

What aftermarket wideband setup are y’all using to be able to log with HPtuners? Time to throw more money at the truck

Is anyone in here currently logging AFR in HPtuners with an aftermarket wideband set-up ?

I've been considering it myself... As I still see an all time (on this t stat) high of 191* while freeway cruising. OE has shown me 194* at worst.

which tstat are you running? a 160* tstat should definitely run cooler than essentially the stock 182-185* tstat.

EDIT - Also FINALLY got around to flashing my "v13" trans tune, (actually similar to yours @12TRDTacoma but not quite as aggressive). A few very minor changes to upshifts to make things more linear, but TONS of changes to upshifts later in the throttle which should make things more lively! On the 10 mi drive to work I am liking what im feeling. Gonna do a week or so worth of testing and will release it when I can.

Kind of a nerve racking flash tho... the "parsing flash data" phase right at the beginning timed out with "argument null" EEK! Got on a better internet connection and it worked like a charm.

I run the 160. It does run cooler normally except on the highway when giving it some juice going up inclines. I still see it go up to 191*... the 160* opening is just when it opens. The coolant can still get hotter than it's opening temp by quite a bit. Which is why I may just go back to OE. It may be redundant for me running the cooler opening one.

I've gotten the argument null message once or twice. I think it legitimately is an internet connection issue thing. It still is nerve racking though huh!

There is a big misconception about T-stats, a thermostat does not change the capacity of the cooling system. It will not change how effective the system is.

Exactly. Only thing it will do is give you a little more time before reaching an overheating condition under extreme load. Like stated, for a DD, you wanna get the motor hot nuff to evaporate out moisture out of the oil so you dont have sludge problems.

If one was to have cooling problems, a bigger radiator / fan setup would be first on my list. Personally on an NA motor i have never had issues with cooling, including slow moving in the desert with ac blasting in 115*F temps.

I never said I was running mine to increase it's capacity and I never said it would increase it either. I actually just ran it because it was a quickly accessible alternative to the OE version which needed immediate replacing so I ran it for experimental purposes.

If you have pro version you just pick your choice of wbo2 and wire directly to the tuner. AEM makes an wbo2 that allows logging through ecu to tuner but not sure if compatible with the Tacoma ecu but should be since it's a newer ecu.

From reading in HPtuners and other gm forums, its seems like certain widebands have issues with lag, sampling rate, ect when logging in hptuners. I'm asking if anyone on here has got a set-up going that works on their tacoma.

I have seen the AEM X-series OBD2 Wideband, it seems like the easiest set-up for logging with HPtuners. one thing i cannot figure out is if you need the prolink version to log with this OBDII wideband. You would think that you dont since the MPVI2 would be picking up this signal thru the canbus... Wish there was a dual AFR gauge that did this

I dont think you need pro with that AEM you mention. But yes real life experience will be hard to find since new application. On my gm application I would log through the ac input with a switch to go between logging and when using AC to avoid buying pro. I found in my many years a tuning that a camera that shows gauge and tachometer is most accurate easy way to log. Lol

Interesting. Dont see why not. I read my buddies truck, HPT didnt have it in the software, sent the HPT and VCM info to them and they updated the beta to support most of the tuning parameters. Still missing some.

Ill have to go for a drive in my buddies FJ and really see if it does rev past the standard 5600rpms of a taco. 6100rpms seems EXCESSIVE!
