im pretty sure 22k is a little high of a price tag for this? 61k miles. should have about 10-20k miles with that price tag, especially with those rims ;)

    yes
KBB shows a value of $21,360 if it's in "good" condition, $22,510 for "excellent" condition.

Yeah that is a bit high in price for the miles and wheels... esp if it needs new tires! It will be an expensive set of rubbers.

although it is a 4x4.... so idk

Yeah, I got him down to $21,200. which is a fair price I think. KBB in good condition is that. And it just has one scratch, inside is super clean. Im not getting the Rims, hes putting on the stock ones. I dont want those gay ass wheels!!! lol..

And for some reason Tacoma's in my area go for alot more, I think its because they go like hot cakes at the stealerships. theyre the best trucks out there! :)

But I do get the 100k mile warrenty which is nice.

Be sure to check that he has title is clear... and make sure that it is clear of liens. Don't take his word and let him tell you that he will pay it off after you pay him and send you a title. If that is how he has to do it... take it to bank that holds the title and settle it there.

They go for much more up here... I have a friend looking for an 05 or newer, they are all hovering around $25k. Unless the miles are crazy high or it has a salvage title.

I think it looks like a nice truck. Nice it comes with the extended warranty.

Yeah, tell him he can keep the wheels!

lol... yeah, I hate when people put 20's on a 4x4 truck....

It has a clear title and I will be going to the bank and settling all the details there. Im actually going to look up the car fax right now, just to make sure.

Agree the wheels have to go, so you are talking 1K minimum for wheels and tires. 19500-20K is a fair price-1K for wheels and tires. Stay away from Kelly Blue Book. If you want real numbers check Autotrader.com or NADA.com. They are selling between average and clean trade in from Private sellers in your area.

different areas must have different numbers, bc like I said, in my area these trucks KBB or NADA is 21K to 24K. Its crazy! and stupid! I wish I could get it for 19 or even 20K. But it aint ganna happen. :(

I agree about that.. When people mention what they paid for their truck on this site, the price always sounds so low. Take a look at this one.

It has 51k miles and they are asking $30 grand! They are almost all like that up here.

I honestly think the dealers are responsible.. They hold the prices up and people pay that for them.

I guess the peace of mind for me is that I know I could sell my truck for $23-25k. I paid $25k for it when I bought it used 3 years ago. Doesn't seem possible, but that is the market up here. However, I have no intentions of selling my truck anytime soon (waiting for a 3rd gen:)).

Truck looks legit except for the wacky chrome rims. If you buy the truck then let me be the first to say congrats on upgrading to 2nd gen Taco!

Tacomas really hold their values up here. I was looking for a 05+ for the longest time. All the ones with somewhat low mileage are 22K +. I looked at 07s with 60k and they were asking 24-26k. Also looked at some 05s with 70-80k and they were going for 20-23k. Some were asking higher too. After a few months, I ended up just getting a brand new one for $28,500. If you can afford it, I'd suggest looking for a deal on a brand new one around our area.

I wish I could afford it! But I gotta keep my payments down. Maybe I will just get 09-10 tail lights. lol....
