Thanks I always had cheap leds until this point I’m telling ya one set of good lights is better than 5 cheapies. :anonymous:
I like the s3 a lot but the sport squadron fit my price point just right. That was still hard for me to swallow but worth it.
The armor is a great investment if you plan on wheeling but a pain if you remove for DD status like I do the extra weight really hits the mpgs.
If your going synthetic you’re gonna pay at least a 100 for a quality one I just ran the one from smittybilt never had any complaints. Now I’ve got steel and been looking at swapping it out.

those lights are super nice man. I wouldn’t even think twice about that upgrade. That looks awesome.

I just don’t want to pay for the smittybuilt rope. It’s freaking rope man, I know the nay-sayers will give the whole “yeah, but that one time off chance that it breaks you’ll be glad you went name brand.” However, how often am I really going to use it and if you’re diligent about inspecting it prior to trips/use, I feel like a non-name brand can’t be a bad alternative. Plus the sheer $$$ I’ve been spending lately if I can save a bit it might keep my wife from getting mad at me eventually lol.

Are they that much of a pain to take on and off? I was going to just eat the cost of MPG because I DD but it’s only like 3-5 miles to work daily for me.

I feel ya on the rope it was included so I didn’t really bother with looking at anything else.
Well if you commute is that short I wouldn’t worry about it. It’s not hard just storing them and breaking out the floor jack every time you want to mess with them. My commute one way is 48mi so it adds up however I leave the front skid on all the time. Plus I change my oil and check fluids more than i wheel hard so that makes life a lot easier.
Within the next year I’m thinking about swapping to aluminum just since sliding over rocks has lost its appeal.

Exactly! Truthfully mine will probably never be a crawler. Just not my thing. Props to those who hit it that hard but I’m not a fan. Call it fear or worse but the idea of rolling scares the poo outta me. Especially since my doggos are in the back most of the time.

Makes sense I don’t go that hard but plenty of times where I’ve drug the belly of the truck never came close to a rollover. Now I enjoy the more mild stuff and I’m tired of fixing stuff I tear up.
