    That's the reason I chose Baja Designs m, ability to swap lens when I want. Now just to save up for some more lights.

    The S1 uses an XHP50 LED, the same that's found in the XL80. Out of that light, we're able to obtain 2,375 lumens. Comparing it to the S2 Pro, it will be very close in intensity. The S2 Pro has 2,450 lumens. The biggest benefit between the two lights is that the S2 Pro has two reflectors. This allows us to get a wider spread than the S1. All in all, it comes down to where the light is mounted and what the customer desires for their build. The S1 is a very impressive light for it's size, but the S2 Pro may also be preferred depending on several factors. Especially if someone needed an LED for spot and an LED for wide cornering. :)

    I'm sorry you feel that way about our Squadron SAE. For those interested in a SAE compliant light, we offer this option. It features a smooth cut off, and has 2,480 lumens.

    I don’t either all my trucks are rams lol. But I have a replacement bumper with 4 square cutouts and 2 sets of SS3 pros in them.

    The S2 pro combo is a good option, that’s what I’m running on my harleys crash bar for all around auxiliary lighting but if you don’t need the combo lens then the S1 is hard to beat for the price.

    I love BD lights, have literally thousands in them but it’s no secret your guys sae lights were a huge flop. Crashnburn actually found them to have less output then the stock Tacoma fogs, that’s pretty embarrassing.

    I haven't but Chris has installed some Squadrons because of the TSS. He's local to NOVA. Here is his post.

    @Baja Designs

    Running into some issues trying to replace my s1 lens. All of the bolts are stripped without help from any torx/Allen/hex bit. Any suggestions for bolt removal and replacement?

    Thanks

    I had this happen to my squadrons. Dunno if you have a welder but this was my fix. Weld the washer to the stripped bolt, then weld a nut to the washer. Just a couple tack welds is all that’s needed.

    Psh, the welder is more versatile than a silly extractor set.

    Both excellent methods for removal, rendering the former screws useless though. I’ve been digging and can’t find replacements, or even the screw size for the s1. Doesn’t seem the be the same as the squadrons (flat head vs button)

    Aren’t they useless anyways since they’re stripped? Whenever I strip a screw my goal is then removal however necessary, and replace with a new one.

    edit: you could take a non stripped one to a hardware store to source a replacement

    Agreed, my point was more “where the hell do I find a replacement?”

    I edited my post above, but if any aren’t stripped you could take it to your local hardware store to figure out the size.

    Hi SendinTheCavalry,

    The correct bit is a 5/64". To remove a stripped bolt on the S1, we use a T9 torx bit. When the light is removed on a level surface, you can seat the torx bit with a slight tap from a hammer. If that doesn't work, we can start a warranty claim to get this resolved. PM inbound.

    The S1 uses an M3x12mm Button Head Bezel bolt. It's a little bit smaller than the bolts found on the Squadron series.
