    Hey all,
I just replaced my 2012 fuel pump assy last Friday as the gas gauge sending unit wasn't working. Now, every now and again she wont start. It happened once on Sunday, yesterday and today. Two of which times my GF had the truck. The first two times I crawled under and pressed on the plug to the pump and it started. I feel that was just coincidence. Today my GF was stuck at a gas station and it wouldn't start. she waited 15-20 minutes and it started. What do you think it could be? faulty pump (Delphi)? bad connection?

well, its happened twice since this post. i dropped the tank again and everything appears to be fine. still no suggestions? might just drop the tank and replace the pump again since its a lifetime warranty.

when it doenst start does it just crank n crank n crank? have you tried turning the key to run, to prime the system, turning it back off, then back to run to prime again before trying to start when this occurs?

yep, cranks like its out of gas. It seems that its losing prime, but it shouldn't be. All lines are tight and electrical connections are sound. Battery is fresh.

    Delphi replacement?

I have ordered new replacement parts that were that specific brand, which failed very shortly after start-up. May or may not be something to consider.

Could be something with the connector itself, on the new part's side. Loose connection perhaps.
