Yeah not a whole lot. I didn’t know if that’s what the numbers should be with 285s

They didn’t charge me for the whole alignment because they didn’t have to change a lot.

Atm oem. But from my understanding is there is still plenty of room to adjust with just oem, right?

Does it drive fine? If so, then your truck is fine and go enjoy it

It’s... different. I’m not sure how to describe it, the steering seems a bit sketchy, so I guess that would be considered it’s not tracking well. I’ve also slid on dry road in some turns that I’m not even going remotely fast in. Maybe that’s just the tires and I need to get used to that.

Not enough caster will make you correct more on a turn than with more caster. Most members on here like 3-4 degrees of caster at least. You should tell the alignment guy to max out caster with the LCA cam alignment bolts and then correct camber and toe from there.

With as little caster as you have its gonna drive like crap. It will want to wander and feel schetchy as you described. Get them to get as much caster as possible with the oem ucas hopefully on the high end of spec which is like 2.8 I believe. Adjust in this order caster, camber, toe.

It may be a lack of caster but that is difficult to achieve if you’re lifted and don’t have aftermarket upper control arms. When you skid did your abs engage?

Needs more caster. How badly does it rub?

I’m going to try to get a hold of the alignment place and see what they can do to get the caster up. Hopefully that goes well.

Have you flexed the suspension and do you have a cab mount chop? If you don't rub now and haven't performed the CMC you will likely need to after you get the caster corrected (assuming you are lifted 2-3" you want to be 3+ for caster).

They guy at the shop said this, “The alignment is computer generated so it’s exactly where it should be. I’ll talk to the owner tomorrow to get some more information. It could be the tires, there were some uneven wear on them.“
