Some vehicles have the holes pre-drilled & plugged.

I just called the local Krown place, he said that I can request no holes drilled, but then Krown doesn’t provide a warranty.

    But he has a point.

On topic. I have a '20 TRD Off Road in Ontario and I Krowned it as soon as I took delivery. I have them drill holes everywhere to get to all the crevices.
I started using Krown on all my vehicles after seeing what salt did to my previous rigs.

I leased my truck and the dealer did rust check on the truck before I bought it. I didn't ask for it so I figured it was just a dealer add-on. It looks as though there are holes drilled in it

There is easy and sufficient access to the inside of the doors, rocker panels, tailgate, hood, frame, subframes, suspension components to easily spray whatever product you prefer (in my case Rust Check). No need to drill any holes. For example, pull the rubber plugs (see photo) off the rocker panels to access. You’ll see the excess drip out where the sections are stamped together. Then reinstall the plugs. Don’t forget to wire brush and paint the weld joints on the frame where there’s surface rust or machined steel parts where they didn’t paint.

    Thanks,

do you pull plug at the green arrow or the blue arrow? Do they go back in easily? Is there a click?

It will become obvious to you when you look at them closely. The outer circumference. It is merely a simple rubber plug. There are many of them plus a larger one on the back side. There are also plugs (on the back side) and drain holes (across the bottom) of the doors. The plugs come off (and go on) easy without damage. Use the runny red Rust Check first. You will see where the excess runs out. Then use the waxy Rust Check as a barrier. Don’t forget the tailgate and frame. Clean and reapply annually.

The whole rubber type piece pulls out. I sprayed fluid film inside and put the cap back in the hole. Plugs go in easy, just make sure their fully in and seated.

You can get to the boxed section of the frame via this plastic cover. Eastwood sells wands to reach inside.AF1D08A8-DB38-4EAA-A462-E577B9EF5C1F.jpg

If you are using spray cans, get the 360 extension wand to insure good coverage. The wand can be used with other products besides Fluid Film - just be sure to flush it out with something like WD-40 when you are done using it.
