So, I had so much fun this last weekend hitting new trails that I have decided... fuckit
I'm starting a second savings. Lift, wheels, tires for Bridgette incoming. Hopefully within the next month.:fingerscrossed::mudding:

Then Im gonna RIP-off a bumper and fab one myself in my shop. Add a winch.

Then I wont need to call @OneGiraffe when I get stucked. :muscleflexing:

Several 30day bans came from that thread alone.

T'wasnt me. Safety labels I can do....but my focus is more in specialty applications. Such as, utilizing the proper label material to withstand severe cold and heat, applications on painted, unpainted metals, plastics and fabrics. Also, I focus a lot on adhesives. Making sure the right adhesive is used for those surfaces.

We even make labels for drums that cross the oceans. This stuff is tested by submerging drums in the ocean for years and years and years. Pulled up every 5 years to check the adhesion. After 30 years, that adhesive is approved for use.

Till you get stuck somewhere and don’t have a tree strong enough to pull the truck out.. or all the trees are behind you.

Get a 50’ winch extension line. I need to get one for our sideXside. It has 30’ of steel cable and I have pulled about 29 and half feet off. If I didn’t have a 30’ tow strap and tree saver I wouldn’t have been able to get out on my own.

Some time ago, I said I'd post some pics of springs.
Here's one close by the Appalachian Trail, accessible via a short spur trail.
    It long pre-dates the AT.
A hundred some odd years ago, the state bought up the land for Michaux State Forest.
There were a number of hardscrabble homesteads there.

    20200309_115705.jpg

Here's another, halfway up Snowy Mountain.
It's well off the Trail and harder to find.
I saw no evidence of anyone visiting it lately.

    20200309_122430.jpg

Here's the one that everybody knows, next to the country church.
You can't tell from the pic, but the road is very steep.

Oh I know. You said you were interested in it a while back, (unless I completely missed the sarcasm) so I thought I'd delve a bit into some of the other shit I do besides automotive.

    Good pic!

you can tell how steep it is from the angle the water level is at.
