Their website says it has coffee in it? Seems like an interesting combo

The weather is finally turning nice around me and Im getting back into hitting the trails. Ive got a question for yall though, what are you using to carry your wallet/keys/phone etc that's atatched to the bike? For the longer rides where I use my camelback Ill throw everything in there, but I dont need the bladder for the short after work rides in the evenings and I find myself using the camelback to only carry my wallet/keys/phone. Id Iike to get away from using a camelback as much as I can, so what sort of gear pouches do you guys recomend?

Do you have any idea how jealous I am that you are able to bike there on a weekend trip? That's like 15-20 hours of driving for me. Worth it though. I had to skip fruita due to poor scheduling when I was in Moab last September. Can't wait to get back that way

I like my hip pack for shorter rides. Dakine, osprey, camelbak, a bunch of others make nice ones that are small.

frame bags are an option too, these came in handy during the winter when I was all bundled up and it was harder to get to stuff on my body. I have an REI brand top tube bag on my mountain bike and a revelate designs frame bag on my road bike. Revelate is super nice but a bit more expensive, very well built. They have a good amount of options. Oveja negra is a brand I want to try at some point. There are also a ton of other brands out there that make this stuff.

Nice deal! Why not throw it on the new bike?

I run two different setups. For guiding I use a top tube bag from Oveja Negra (https://www.ovejanegrabikepacking.c...e-bags/products/snack-pack-large-xl-wack-pack) along with a Dakine hip pack with first aid supplies. Why do you carry your wallet? Otherwise, I would recommend a small saddle bag

I am looking at KUAT NV 2.0 and NV 2.0 Base, are they exactly the same and same metal material? I know that Non Base NV 2.0 has bike holder.

Just got my eye on something different. The new (new to me) bike isn't a for sure thing yet. Repair quotes are coming in so that option isn't off the table. Unless you wanna make me an offer the cracked frame...shock was just rebuilt..:boink:

Do those bed mats leave wear marks on the frame?

Sweet. I'll shoot you a text, just waiting on wifey approval

Yes, but a small bit of frame protection is cheap and works perfect.

Keep an eye on the weather. I looked this morning and it looks like it may be a little soggy.

I’ve been considering one of those as a lighter XC bike. I just feel like it overlaps my stache a lot.
