I had an 88 Toyota long bed once. very cool trucks! Early 90s trucks are basically, mid to late 80s trucks, with upgrades. Certain part on my 88 were interchangeable with my tacoma even.

 

They are kinda cool little trucks, basically just a sporty pickup.

 

That would be a interesting sight! One I might have to Google. Haha

 

Both of these are mine. They were both projects. The one on the right is my current daily 96 4x4 5 speed 2.7 base truck. The one on the left is my new project 97 Automatic v6 Power windows and locks 4x4. Yeah I managed to get both in the same color lmao. The 97 has 177k on it, the 96 has 183k.

 

Lmk if you ever get rid of that grille guard

Just bought this yesterday and I can’t wait to have it delivered. It’s a 95.5 with 120k v6 manual.

They didn’t have service records but it’s a one owner no accidents and the truck was kept in a hangar most of its life. I do know it’s still got the original timing belt and water pump

That is an awesome score!

It looks like it is in great shape underneath, which is a huge plus for the 1st gen. But, those lower ball joints look like they have been weeping quite a bit of grease. I'd check on those pretty quick.

Please don't ask which ones people recommend, or this thread might turn ugly and get

 

what's the story with the chrome mirrors, i assume they are powered?
but then I thought those were only available on the SR5 trim model
