Yes, you have to request your registration key.

Seems like this happens a lot. No one seems to know that as soon as you pay for your kit, you can download the software and request your registration key. That way you would have it and be ready to tune/flash your truck as soon as you get your kit delivered.

Yes installed as directed. Seems windows is detecting this as a trojan virus and not allowing the flashing utility to run/open.

Where I live it’s 70-90 cents more for premium for top tier gas stations and about 50 cents more at places like Murphy.

Yeah, but Costco. Right around $3.10 for premium.

Next time I'm down there I won't be in such a rush and make some time for costco gas. Had to meet this dude to buy his cataraft before he flaked out again.

A bit late to the review party - but I flashed mine to 2.0 base and drove 210 miles in wintry mountainous conditions... it honestly feels like an entirely different motor - smoother, more powerful, and that wild 7k snarl.

Impressive what code can do. Mat should work for Toyota!

    Good move.

It took me a while to get comfortable with Costco gas. A few stories have swirled around, but zero issues on anything (bikes or cars, carbureted or DI). Well, except for the wife's Forester. It ran a bit rough. Turns out, it was a damaged timing sprocket from the factory. Since, the thing runs smoother and better on Costco gas.

Winning! Thanks! My computer is home in Texas and I’m stuck up in Maine so I couldn’t check to see if he ever got around to making the OFT files available through flash manager. I knew he had it in the works just wasn’t sure if it was a reality yet.

Strange feeling phenomenon today while driving in traffic.

Does the tss system interfere with the truck at lower speed even without giving a system warning? IE does it try to force you to maintain a safer following distance?

This is a feeling I've had with the truck even stock, except today it felt more pronounced.

Basically, i drive this same little path through downtown every day, it's down hill, 20 mph zone.

I usually have it in 2nd gear and let it ride with either no throttle or very light throttle. While barely pushing the throttle it feels like the truck is switching between engine braking and low throttle cruising. You can even hear it changing. It is an on off on off on off feeling.

I'm going to try and recreate it with traffic, without traffic, and with pcs on and off. But it really feels like the truck is trying to force me into a following distance.

If there a way to data log this to see what the throttle is seeing? Maybe I'm pushing the throttle so lightly that it is barely picking it up and when i hit bumps it's kicking it on and off?

It was just way worse today and traffic was also worse.

It's nearly 1:30am but, I just got home from a 12 hour drive and whilst unwinding I just couldn't bare it, I had to update and try out the PremSupafobbs on the lonely road that leads to all the fun forest roads...
Didn't drive enough to give any intelligent input but, did drive enough to tell that I came up to a few curves and was pushing them harder than ever before... fun stuff!
Big thanks to Matt and OV Tune!!!

Today was the first 30 mile drive to work. MPG is better under normal driving conditions (60mph) in traffic on the interstate compared to 1.5. Tune has had enough time to settle in and this thing is fun! Great work Mat!!!!
