Sounds good! Thanks for all the info, any way I could snag the promo code for the HH? Probably will buy those and the Deavers this week.

A few glamour shots of the wonderful hammer hangers - which have dramatically changed the ride quality, flexibility & durability of the back of my truck. I wish I purchased these sooner, killer product. My buddy BRYAN definitely approves (as he can be seen here, respecting the flex)

These pictures were sent along from Clint @Redsyota showing that supporting stock hangers from the shackle bolt, doesn't save the hangers. A replacement hanger solution is required, and he opted for the shackle flip

I pay attention (occasionally) and I wasn’t about to have a bolt marr up my HH. Your design and the quality of the hardware is just fantastic.

I have been looking into these hangers as the first suspension upgrade to my truck. I want to wear out my stock suspension before lifting it. Anyone else have these on a stock setup? I am also wondering if I should upgrade the shackles while I'm at it?

The ride is great with Hh + stock springs. I have done it, and several others have, read the reviews in post #1.

I would just get the base hangers, and reuse stock shackles.

    Some of the things...
Sorry I've been locked out of my account since December. @ARCHIVE hooked me up with the standard flip. I also went to fox 11" travel shocks and the difference is dramatic. Still running OME 096's and I can droop out enough that extended wheeler's brake lines aren't long enough. I think the defined engineering bar is still a good idea for a mild rig (it did stiffen things up a bit) but when lots of weight or more serious wheeling is involved, those factory hangers just cant cope. I found out pretty quickly that they wont support the weight of the truck on rocks #dobetter #cantpickalinetosavemylife.

    Copied from my build thread:

    Hammer Hangers:
I finally got decent weather and time to install the @ARCHIVE Garage Hammer Hangers Christie got me for my birthday. Eric at Archive was great to deal with through the whole process, explained all the bennifits to me completely, and reviewed my rear suspension set up and made his recomendations. I got the Hammer Hangers and new polly bushings for the shackles.

He set me up with the full kit and I ordered the drill bits to go along with it:

I put it up on jack stands yesterday and it took me about 1 1/2 hours to get the old spring hangers off and grind the rivets flush with the frame. Then it only took another hour or so to get all the rivets drilled out, man the bits he sent are good bits. I ground the minimal rust from the frame and got it all painted and ready for the install everything went pretty smoothly.

Then the pain in the ass began getting the OEM bushings out of the shackles. Thanks to @TacoFMS for letting me come down to his house and he pressed the rubber part of the bushing out that was a huge help. I ended up putting the shackles in a vice and cutting the metal sleeves through on both sides with a hack saw to split them then used a brass punch to bend them and extract them. I started with a air hammer but it started to get into the shackle so quit that approach and settled with the brass punch. Then I cleaned up the shackles and painted them and installed the new bushings.

After the shackles everything went pretty smooth installing the Hammer hangers. My only issue was getting the socket and torque wrench into some of the places but it finally worked. I got it back on the ground and took a short test drive. I did not order the cross tube from Archive Garage I will fab that up myself another fun little project.

Somewhere in here somebody said the best wy to measure lift was tomeasure from the top of the leaf plate to the bottom of the frrame. right now I am 7 1/2" from the top of the All pro ubolt flip plate to the bottom of the frame. Anybody remember what a stock measurement is?

I asked Eric this same thing in a PM back in August. His response, "So I recommend taking a measurement to get your actual ride height, measure from the top of the axle tube up to the bottom of frame rails, stock is 8.25"."

Chris, thank you for taking the time to post pictures and your experience, plus leave a review on my website, I appreciate it.

@65skyturbo is correct, thanks for posting

If I remember you have the Deaver U402 stage 3 springs. If you are wanting less height and spring rate, I believe that the stage 3 is the stage 2 + 1 leaf added. Therefore you can go down to stage 2 by removing that leaf.

Thanks Eric. Everything is working so well I’m not messing with anything. Yeah I have a bit of rake but I already did and I’m more concerned with function over form. Thanks for a great product and customer service
