If your spouse is anti-2A, the easiest way to bring them around is to take them shooting. Find an easy caliber like what was posted below and start small. My wife refuses to go to one of those indoor ranges because she's scared of the other patrons, I don't blame her so we have to go out to public land to shoot. There's not much in the way of that around these parts but it's not impossible. I would get her one of these 22lr sporting rifles. It's not scary but gives her a good representation of the 'Scary Black Rifle'. We both know that 5.56 doesnt kick at all but maybe shes scared of the noise or just the thought. Take it slow, go over familiarization in a comfortable setting, like the home. Have the kids go play at the neighbors or get out of the house but dont be pushy, treat it like a scheduled date when she's comfortable and ready to learn a bit more, go over a bit more. Bottom line, don't try to lay it on thick and heavy at first. Educate. You know your "ole jewel" better than anyone here.

very nice! I’m gonna get a board one of these days. Just using a little interface now through some Yamaha HS7s and recording to Logic. Just got the new JHS Colour Box V2 I’m gonna use as a pre. Mic up amps n such with AKG 414s.

 

Naw I didn't do that. I've been tempted on some of the guys stuff I know or just something dumb. To get them wondering if something else was done.
