IMO, you had to learn a completely fucked up way to drive M/T to be effective with these trucks on the early calibrations.
Toyota did improve things somewhat along the way, but it wasn't enough.

Treat this like a AAA title video game, welcome the delays that are for further improvements but also remember that results vary and more tweaking is sure to come in further patches. AT guys, id expect something coming your way before i can even have my tune fully settled in ( i dont drive far so take that for what it is lol)

Thats the hardest part of the new tunes, learning how to drive the truck normal again and not compensate for the fuckery.. because its no longer there.

    Lol, yep.

That snap at 2k in 1st is getting me once in a while. I'm still mashing the pedal too much.

I was driving mine home from the dealer for my first real experience and im thinking....what is wrong with my feet today i cant drive this thing smoothly to save my life. After a week i was picking up on how to do it and i couldnt help but notice....i had to drive it almost as if i was learning for the first time, except it was damn near making you drive it poorly....to be able to drive it well lol. My 86 toyota was a welcome change to this '18, in the rare chances i took her out before the head let go on me haha.

@OVTune will let us know when he’s about to release the 2.0 AT files. At that point there will be no doubt. This thread will explode :violent:.

I personally still hope he creates a new 2.0-specific thread. This old one really needs to die.

I've never seen a software project that doesn't create new threads for every release -- especially major (whole-integer) releases like a 2.0.

You don't want to lose the mood in this thread. It's a special mix of sarcasm, exasperation and whining that will be hard to duplicate.

do you need to reregister? I’ve uninstalled 1.3.5. Downloaded 1.3.0.
    I’ve “installed all software”
    Installed cable drivers
    Hit the update.

    I’m already running beta 2.0 4.88 91 bo4.
Just want to be ready for 2.0 final AT when released.
    Thank you in advance!

No need to reregister. Sounds like you’re ready, as am I.

I don't want to overextend my TW welcome. This thread is already the biggest mess in TW.

I still dont understand people's undying desire to have multiple threads. With everything here, it's simple and easy to search (if you know how to use the search button) instead of having to go across multiple threads.

all you would accomplish is shuffling the shit to a new thread and getting people confused on which thread they should be using and what happened to the old one.

Let the record also show, that you'll definitely have an easier time flinging mud up into the air. Hit the local mud hole and where I'd normally have to run it pretty hard and let the clutch fly, it managed to spin the tires in the thick stuff with noticably more ease...major plus lol.
