Have you learned nothing from him yet? He changes his mind and routines more than I do my gym shorts

I wanna slow the gains a little. Cut a little fluff. This comps weight class is up to like 220lbs and the next comp Is 231 but gonna be full of solid 231 people. I need to save some weight for muscle if I can.

One is in 6 weeks and the next I’m gonna sign up for isn’t until august but that’s a more serious one. This first one is just kinda for fun.

You won’t gain 20lbs in 6 weeks. Keep eating, weight moves weight despite what @ThunderCookies will tell you.

A 20lb handicap in a lighter weight class is a hell of a lot different than giving up 20lbs in the heavy weights.

True trueee. Weight gain and muscle has been pretty steady. Was just going to experiment and see what happens since I can already do all the top weights for my weight class. That ole never ending experiment.

So the next comp is a few years away?

Do not confuse muscle mass gain with strength gains due to being in a caloric surplus and being heavier which makes it easier to move weight.

What do you mean “despite what I will tell him”....this is literally what I told him like 2 weeks ago and he disagreed with me flat out. Eat. Fill out your weight class. It’s why I keep telling @Kerleyfries to eat more when he tells me he’s not hungry or he forgot

I’m just messing with you since you constantly say you are super strong despite being super lean.

I have been eating a ton though and it’s rough lol. Not a crazy amount but like 3,500 easy on training days. Do feel good and strong but the fluff is mentally starting to suck.

I got up to over 250 lb and while it was nice pushing heavier weights you still feel sluggish I knew it was the wrong direction once the waist starts to grow too.
