Getting a new leer 100xr. Planning to get the vented windoors, but the dealer said they try to steer people away from these b/c they tend to leak. Anyone with windoors have trouble with leaks? thanks!

I was thinking of going the same route. Have you heard anything other than what the dealer said?

Thanks for the quick reply! I really like the convenience of being able to reach in to grab stuff from the front of the bed instead of having to climb in. Not crazy about shelling out good money for something that leaks right from the get go. Granted I was considering a softopper, but I really like the added security of a hard shell. I'll keep looking around.

I have the vented windoors on both sides. I haven't had any leaking problems yet.

Old thread but I have info. They leak after it rains and you open them. The design does not shed water so it builds up in the slider track and when you open it all the water drips back in. It's a bit annoying. My snug top did not have this problem. The windoors on the snug top hinge to the frame as well so when you open it any water that drips off the front of the glass goes to the top gutter and around. The leer hinges below the top of the frame so all the water will drip out at the end right into the truck. The windoors on the snug top are better IMO when it comes to water getting in and just the all around design. But this is all with windows being opened ( even hours after it rains hard)
