    Before I purchase: these came off a 2nd gen. Setting is at the 2.75” mark. I know the 5100s on the 2nd gen have different heights compared to the 3rd gen.

    I'm pretty sure it will work, the difference in height for 2nd vs 3rd Gen comes front different weight and configuration of the engine/body. The shocks should fit fine.

    Though at 2.75", you may need UCAs to maintain proper alignment. 2.5-3" is usually where you start to possibly need them, 3" and above you definitely will.

    it’s a “coilover” setup. Toytec spring is included. Yes, 5100 are $185 but it’s another $200ish for springs.
