CANCELED -> TEC || Ardbeg Spring Run, May 1 -3, 2020

EVENT CANCELED DUE TO COVID-19, STAY STRONG!

This is start of the season, some sections can have deep waters, mud and rocks! Well that's exactly what we are after here! Black flies season also going to be in progress, keep that in mind. Plan is to run South trail, asses the condition of bridges, collect garbage and clean trails from trees and debris. We are going to start from the Black Lake area and head south with camping plans mid through the trail and exiting on Sunday.

The South trail is stock friendly and a good place to ace and refresh your 4WD skills.

Those that never been at Ardbeg - if you are coming late Friday night or Saturday morning please PM me for instructions when/where to meet.


Camping wise it is most likely going to be cold, bring firewood, dress warm, it can rain.
Camp sites are made out of rocks if you plan to pitch your tent, they don't have any services around. Fill up with gas and bring enough water.
Have your spare tire with you, bring air compressor and all necessary gear.

Most important: drink responsibly and don't drive on trails under influence. There is no excuse for that.

This would be my first run ever, stock truck. Looking to get some experience and guidance if you guys are patient.

The wife and I will bring our doggies with us, stay Friday night come back Saturday some time. Just camping for us, do some North trail maybe. Depends how the dogs like the off roading. We will find out.

We will get you through. Have personally done this trail stock. Have seen cars in the main trails. Have gotten other stock trucks through the trail. Just take it slow, and don’t hesitate to ask for a spot.

I'm still on stock suspension and tire sizes and have been to Ardbeg once before. You need to take it slowly but sticking to the main trail and the bypasses allow you to drive it with little issues.

though, do you have any rock sliders or skid plates you're looking forward to getting as an additional? Otherwise, smart lines and taking it easy will be the best option for you.
