    Hey team.
Hoping to find a good shop (or maybe even an awesome member) near Tacoma, WA who could replace the inner CV joint boot on the driver side of my 2015 tacoma. The stealership and one local shop I called both quoted me north of $400. I'm from VT and the rates maybe are just higher out here?? I dunno. Help a guy out?

Sorry, I don't know much in Tacoma. But Pacific Rim Automotive in Fremont is great for import service. If I was on that side of the state right now I'd happily do it for you.

Haven't used them but there is Greg's Japanese Auto which has locations all over the Puget Sound, including Puyallup and Federal Way, which aren't too awfully far away from Tacoma. Might be worth a call to see if their price is less than the dealers.

Increase your odds by NOT going anywhere on South Tacoma Way...

I'd have thought getting a Tacoma worked on in Tacoma would be a breeze. All the shops are Tacoma shops, so should be a price war trying to get the Tacoma business to their Tacoma shops. If all the shops in Tacoma are Tacoma shops, Where could I get an F-150 worked on???

Pretty sure you just trade those in when they expire

I’m sure people will say eww gross... but I always took my 08’ to Firestone by the Towne Center. Stationed there for 10 years and never had an issue with bad or incompetent service.
