What I did when I bought mine was get an internet price from one dealer and then emailed another dealer across town. They said they would beat that number, so I took that email and sent it to the first dealer. Of course the number got lower. I just played them against each other until one quit.

Hey guys, first time poster here.
I’m from Canada so if there is a thread for Canadian pricing please let me know!

so I’m looking into a 2020 Access cab TRD OR in quicksand.
Dealership quoted me $44590 and offered $1200 off. Price still seems too steep... I don’t really know a lot of people that had bought access cab and comparing it around the internet and forums it seems like most price are USD.

Anyone have any idea what would be a fair price?

What was MSRP? Seems way too much, honestly. You should be able to get 10 - 12% off, easy.

    MSRP was 44590.
Do I have any legs to stand on for negotiating vehicles that they need to order? Most dealers I’ve talked to make it sound like quicksand access cab TRD OR is rare...

Yes, you do. Just let them know you will go elsewhere, or to it, if they can’t give you a good deal. That is not a super common package, but for an access cab, it must be fully loaded.

I got my TRD OR MT (short bed, I think it is the only option) for a tiny bit above $36,000, retail was $38,800 and something. Got LED upgrade, all weather mats, Tech package and mud guards with it, but whatever. I just wanted a TRD OR manual. It was the only one available anywhere in Northern Nevada at that time and I don't think the dealer would have been as accommodating if they'd known how badly I wanted it.

I don't consider myself a shrewd negotiator at all, so I am happy with the outcome - I guess. It still is a hell of a lot of money.

That’s for the reassurance guys. Figure that I could have gotten another 0.5-1% more off but I think I’m comfortable with my deal. My problem is that I always to worry and over research after the fact.

I think the way build and price works in US vs CA is also different, the packages is based on which trim u select. For example, the OR package in Canada seems to come with everything, there’s no headlight package, tech package, premium package, etc that need to choose from. That being said, I’m pretty sure it is fully loaded.
    But only $1200 off...?

Yeah, I’m sure it is different, but even a couple guys in this thread from Canada have gotten some deals. One guy got a smoking deal on a Pro, and if you can do that, then $1200 is a joke. And, I don’t know everything involved, but maybe buy from the States and get a vacation for free on the savings.

Haha, with the conversion rate right now I think I’ll be spending more buying down there from the numbers I’m seeing in this thread, cuz 44590cad(my MSRP) is 32500usd.
I’ll check out other dealers and keep looking, thanks for your input!

    Hi Everyone,

I have been following this thread for a while. I'm looking to purchase in Northern California. Any recommended dealers? This would be my first time purchasing from a dealer. Feel free to PM me.
