    Thanks for the compliment!

Since you already have shocks and just wanted a bit of lowering, you may want to consider the Belltech 2/3" kit which I hear has a nicer ride than the ChassisTech.

    https://www.ebay.com/itm/Belltech-Lowering-Kit-for-1996-2004-Toyota-Tacoma-6-Cyl-2-F-3-R-No-Shocks/153535261522?fits=Year%3A2002%7CModel%3ATacoma

What size tires are you running?

If they aren't too much over 25" you could go with a 3" drop if you want lower in the front, but these springs would be a bit stiffer unless you go the custom coil spring route like I am.

I’m running 17” mustang wheels with 225/45/17 I believe. I’ve heard good about Belltech over everything else. Think I’ll wait for it. I’ve got the $$$ just don’t wanna order it and stack it with all the other crap I ordered for the truck. Not enough room

Ahh, I know how that goes! I have parts in the garage, back yard, and spare bedroom currently.. it's pretty much out of control as my wife likes to say. She asked if she needed to call some kind of auto-holics hotline earlier today when I told her I bought a stock muffler, then purchased a Borla muffler before I even installed the stock one!

When she asked if the cops could give me a ticket for the muffler being too loud I told her it wasnt going to be "that loud", and if so then I already have a stock muffler to swap right over!!

@mjbtaco I was aware, hence why I asked about the smogging! Thanks for the extra hornifying pic though:thumbsup:

I am leaning towards the supercharger for my truck since its easier to swap back to stock if needed for smog season!! More of just a manifold swap and a pulley, vs adding the ecm, tuning, inter cooler, fuel, etc... and they were actually smog legal till 2001, although I have an 02.. figured may be "close enough" at the "right" station. :fingerscrossed:

Wish they still had the TRD marking on the manifold though, hah! :D

Sweet! Seems you and your ol' girl have been through a lot (of tires) together!! Do you run it anyplace in particular to open her up (auto-x, drags, canyons)?

Glad to hear the supercharger gave an extra kick in the pants too.. you dont have it laying around gathering dust particles do ya?!

the last time i really did anything with it was in the canyons. had a nice little drive about 6 months ago. back when it was supercharged i used to take it to the drags at auto club speedway in fontana. im still undecided which direction i wanna take it in now in this latest iteration of the truck.

i actually sold the supercharger way back when to fund the first turbo setup lol. so no, unfortunately that thing is long gone.

Figured it'd be gone, but thanks! "First turbo".. you have done a lot to your truck indeed!!

I just got my truck about 2 months ago, so getting used to her still with some "spirited" canyon runs. Some shocks, and the aforementioned drop is in my future before more power..

Any recollection of your quarter mile times when you had the supercharger? What other mods were you running and how much boost at the time?! Wondering what I can expect just going with the simple low boost setup, intake, and headers when the time comes.. it will surely be a lot more fun than it is though!

yeah it was definitely fun. but theres more potential with a turbo. my brother ran 12's in his turbo truck back then.

Got the order officially going for my custom built Deaver 2.65" front drop springs today. After speaking with the engineers about my overall goals and other mods planned it was determined I will be going with a spring rate that is 25% above stock, from 295 to 368.

Should be getting these in 4-5 weeks to have them built now.. now that wait time is "BS" huh?!
