    Around 20 million get the regular flu every year (varies between 10 and 50 million). Regular flu has an R0 (basic reproduction number) of 1.3 (higher is bad) Regular flu has a mortality rate of 0.05%

    2019CoV has an R0 calculated at about 2.2 and its mortality rate is about 3%. Varies depending on age. Above 70 mortality is more than 10%. We obviously don't know 2019CoV infection numbers but if the R0 is higher than regular flu, well.....

    Get out your calculator and see what you think.
