Absolutely. Chance of winning is about as slim as catching the corona virus, but hey - anything is possible!

Yup, have the old fender it’s coming off too but I figured I’d try this route first before I try tracing off the old holes to make my own

Yo party people. Have any of you replaced your LBJ's before? I'm due for them I think. I'm at 210k. I have my shop check them every 3k when I go in for an oil change. The tech said they are "rock solid" but I am afraid of them failing on me.

From what I heard it’s a straight forward job and can be done by yourself. Also it’s not hard to check them yourself, might give you some peace of mind

I’m in HB. Pretty far from you.

    always.

yeah I’ve watched the video on it. The failures just sketch me out. When I jack up the truck in a pry bar they feel solid. But I do have some popping sometimes but I think it’s my sway bar as the bushings are shot.

If that’s the case why not try disconnecting the sway bar and see if the noise goes away. Or maybe just the end links

i might take it off and see. It only happens every so often. My suspension is fairly noisy overall when going angled up a driveway and such. That seems normal though. The popping happens more so when turning left fast or right fast. Not really going over bumps.

I’m not sure what exactly that is but it sounds familiar to what I was hearing when one of my sway bar end links bent. Could be something else, although every part of my suspension makes noise
