Are you just talking adjusting the collar on a coilover? If so just find someone with the spanner (or buy it should only be like ~$30 bucks) and jack the truck up to "unload" as much as you can and then adjust the collar a bit then go drive it around a bit to let it settle and remeasure and repeat.

If you really want a shop to do it...Mule would be my recommendation. No clue what they would charge but I'd expect probably an hour labor which Im sure is going ot be somewhere in the 80-120 bucks range (i dont know their specific hourly rate but thtats a common range for shops)

yeah, just the collar to adjust the height. We installed them on Saturday and they have “settled” 1 inch since then and I would like to get back to where it was. I’ve adjusted coilovers on cars before (KW and BC Racing) but this is first time With a Truck and King.

Its the same concept just a bit different in execution just in differences in the shocks (like BC i think the collar is generally on the bottom vs top on the Kings)

correct, BC had a locking collar and then the whole threaded coil body turned..both BC and KW collars are on the bottom and done with a wrench. I’ll reach out to these shops and decide from there based on cost, if it’s ridiculous, I’ll buy the tool and follow steps from the King adjustment threads on TW.

    thanks!

If they are Kings it is super simple, jack the weight off the wheel, loosen the set screw and use a spanner wrench (or I have even used a large punch that fits snug in the collar holes) and crank the collar down to preload the spring which raises the ride height. When you're done just tighten the set screw and put the truck back on the ground.

Thanks! King says to turn L or R. If I’m looking down at the coil over.. do I turn it clockwise or counter clockwise to lift?

Looking down it will be clockwise, the more threads above the collar, the more pre-load and therefore more ride height you will have.

Tightest fitting punch worked for me on my ADS’s

Adjust, drive it a few miles and recheck/adjust if necessary.

Thanks for the encouragement fellas...I ordered the King tool today and will do it at home with some guidance from a TW member. I reached out to a shop recommended here and was quoted pretty high (in my opinion) for adjustment.

Update: got the rear doors/ rear part of the cab covered with sound deadening mat. With the interior still out it’s about as quiet as it was before. The rear doors have a good solid thunk to them when you close them.
