1/2" plastic. It's not a reinforcement, it's meant to allow the tailgate to act as a cutting board, serving table, etc. (I went to the website and read up on it)

Lifted it with my new floor jack. Beats the bottle jack I was making due with. Had to check the torque on the wheel spacers.

Yeah, $179. Unfortunately the 20% off coupon they have right now cant be applied, fine print... But pretty happy with it. With my modest lift, the extra height this one had is pretty nice. Haven't check the hydraulic fluid in it yet though. I've heard where these can come low brand new.

I've got one of these. Low profile and 24" lift. Best deal in the market. Use to use it for a Mazda 3 I had AND it'll lift the truck a functional height!

I got mine a couple of months ago. Been wanting one so bad lol. My old one which I had for over 30yrs, wouldn't pump up anymore (I'm sure it just needed fluid, but I just needed an excuse to get me the HF one lol). It's a great jack and I'm sure I'll get 30yrs years out of this one too.

I finally got a chance to install my @CaliRaisedLed Ditch Lights w/ their Low Profile Brackets.

Then did some trail riding a couple days later, but the new lights didn't help me any lol. Just not enough skinny pedal :mudding:

So worth it! Important to grab the in channels though. This and the bug shield were the first things I purchased when I got my truck

Rago makes a low profile light mount that goes on the low pro bracket. Seems to come out tilted, but you cant tell when you take a few steps back

Bestek 500W DC to AC inverter installed under the rear seat, passenger side. Wired direct to battery via 10ga wiring and a 40a fuse. More convenient to use for charging stuff inside the truck than the factory bed outlet. I was gonna do the TW mod to use the factory inverter at 400W all the time and add the OEM 4Runner plug to the back of the console... but this was cheaper, offered more outlets, and a higher output. The Bestek inverter is rated pretty much as "best" in low power inverter comparisons (though for some reason it isn't available in black...grr...). $39 on Amazon. Total with 15' of 10ga wiring and some assorted nuts, bolts, and electrical connectors was about $55.

    Clockwise from upper left:

    1) seat bottom is removed and the plastic cargo tray is pulled out, drill 4 holes, inverter is then bolted to the existing metal subframe. Oversize nuts are used as spacers to space the bottom of the inverter away from the carpet 1/3" or so to help keep it cool.

    2) (photo is sideways) Close up of inverter face; 2 15a 120VAC outlets and 2 2.4a fast charge USB outlets. The USB outlets are always on, the AC outlets are controlled by the switch on the far right side.

    3) Inverter tucked under seat.

    4) Seat bottom can still fold forward over top of the inverter, there is about .75" clearance.
