    Did this little mod, took a like maybe 10 minutes, aside from painting, and that was mostly figuring out how to take off tail gate (never took one off) and finessing with it. I'll make a revision later down the road as I had planned to color match the tailgate antitheft however it seems no parts store sells toyota speedway blue (8p1) in San Antonio. I found a can on Amazon but I'm not in a rush and I'm figuring out a better counter sunk bolt that's not a reg torx. All in all a good value mod at $20.

    So as an update I correct my toe alignment which was knocked out during the rally and the shop reported nothing bent. Works for me as I can upgrade the frontend incrementally vs at once. So, later on, I plan to order these lca's from superpro. One set for the 4runner and the other for the tacoma.

    Not sure yet on which one to go for the tacoma. Think the end lift numbers will steer towards that direction. However at the time being I'll go a notch or two higher on this bilstein with the heavier duty spring for the anticipated weight per headstrong and bilstein on this shock.

    Unexpected upgrade. Battery that came with my truck finally died. Luckily I didn't need a jump and it managed to be well enough for me to get home and get the battery from my race truck and install it in the daily. I swear it took off 30lbs at least.

    Also took care of more rust under the battery tray. Was a quick little fog with rust remover, dry, simple green, pat dry, and light fog of rustoleum i had.

    Got the ebrake for the taco. Just waiting for some free time to install it. THE current event, work, and the weather has delayed the installation a bit. Also the first set of shoes had one of the friction material separated on one.

    Initial impressions are good went through speed bumps going more than I would have previously. They arent hydros but I believe this will help out alot on another rally day. Still wanna go up a notch or two on the shocks.
