What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

I did a thing to the truck today.

 

Dropped it off at the service dept this morning.

really loud squeaking coming from front driver side suspension. I couldn’t seem to make the noise on purpose, but I was able to get it on video. (Cant figure out how to upload a video here).

i took a look and couldn’t find anything out of the ordinary. I was only getting it at low speed < 15mph and randomly. Not even over speed bumps, sometimes just entering into a parking lot, coming to a stop, bumpy paved roads, just minimal movement. I even jumped and rocked the truck back and forth on the running board and nothing!

Just picked it up, was told rocks had been wedged in between the skid plate. Best news I could’ve hoped for, but I sure feel worthless taking it in for this.

Any noticeable issues with signal loss and ground plane while transmitting?

I had a vehicle that did something similar and it just so happened that the guy who did my brakes forgot to tighten the bolt on my caliper.

 

Off with the grey/chrome OffRoad taillights and on with the black bezel 2020 Pro taillights

It’s actually just sitting there since my old mount went where they decided to put a air bag under the steering column... until I come up with a better solution haha

 

Didn’t bleed but I definitely scrapped up my hands lol pain in the ass

 

It's screwed in now (2 holes on top corners), just didn't remove the velcro from before.

 

I don't really know where else to post this other than here but I finally got my diamondback cover in and installed! I know its nothing groundbreaking but I'm so excited that I had to share!

 

Nope! I'm sure we have plenty of company and I can almost promise you this won't be the last time you read a post about it.

 

A whole lot easier when it's on a lift and can take a good look around!
