Not sure what version you are looking for, I posted my purchase price on here for my SR access cab V6 4WD. Nobody said anything but I think I got a pretty good deal. With the economy impacted by the virus you should be able to also and toyota raised their rebates for this month which helps. Good luck.

Just got back after inking a deal.

First of all. Thank you all in this forum for helping me research what I wanted. It was a huge help.

Today, my wife and I went for another test drive of a 2020 Tacoma TRD Off Road. It was our third. She loved it. She drives a 2019 Pilot and side by side, they are about the same height. She does not like driving my F150's or the Dodge Ram I have now. They are to wide and big. The Tacoma was much nicer for her, especially the width.
Ended up taking advantage of that $1500 cash back and got a TRD Off Road, double cab, long bed in "Quicksand"....which really grew on us over the "cement" I originally wanted after looking at many online pics.

Got the Technology Package with it. Price (MSRP) was $40257 and got it for $34876. Not a bad percentage off the MSRP. I'm ok with the deal and had no problem taking it.

That’s slightly over 13% off the MSRP. You bought well!

It was one of those dealerships that claims it doesn't haggle and that their sales people do not get paid on commission (don't really know for sure), but after tons of research here, I had a price in mind and would have easily walked for anything but.

    Unbelievable......

I had that price written down on the back of the dude's biz card before I went. When he threw the number at me, I laughed. I then pulled out the card from my pocket and showed him what I had written down as my "walk away price". The guy was super-chill too. Nice kid. Very patient and expecting me to buy after my tax shit was all done for the year. I had originally told him May.

We were within $1.:) Thanks to all the research online, including this thread. I couldn't beat that price anywhere. And only had to drive about 50 miles for it.

I feel I got a nice deal. It just all fell together. The Quicksand color had been sitting, but was sold. They honored that price and located one that has also been sitting at another dealer to get me the same price. I will pick it up after I take a ride to our other home in PA. It should be in by then.

Hello, I've been looking for the same truck in cement here in PA for months. Could you tell me what dealership you went to?

The cement and quicksand are either popular or limited colors here. If they sit, which the cement doesn't, you can score a little better.
The quicksand is a little more niche color. Not too popular and limited. If they sit, you can get a little better deal by about 300-400 bucks.
I could have got the one white one (to match my other company trucks) even cheaper. I just couldn't do white.
The process was much easier than I expected. Very surprising coming from a volume dealer.

No. Not PA, although I'll be back at my other home there next week, I was going to check prices in the Valley (WB/Scranton) to see what prices were there.
I just couldn't pass it up.
I have a house in Pocono Pines, where I'm originally from.
I live full time in WI now.

I’m shopping for a TRD OR double cab long bed. I’ve used advice in this thread and others so thanks everyone. First new car purchase I have ever made. I am in northern CA. Emailed a dozen dealerships and was offered $4,849 off of a $39,103 MSRP truck. Told the closest dealership about that and the salesman texted saying they could do $200 off invoice price. I still haven’t gotten an email showing the details on that though.
The first offer would be just over 12% off. From what I have read seems like a pretty good deal? Any thoughts?

Thinking about going for it but not really in a rush. Wondering if the economic news could work in my favor if I wait a bit.

I’m in Sacramento - So willing you travel within a 250 mile radius if the deal makes it worth it. Looking for a 2020 TRD OR with a tech package.

Not in the biggest hurry, especially if the current state of the economy drives prices lower.

Did you have to finance with Toyota to qualify for the $1.5k cash back? I'm going Friday to look into an SR5, and already have pre-approval at 2.74%. Hoping I don't need to accept their financing terms that are higher just to qualify for this rebate.

Right now you get either one but not both.
$1500 cash back or Toyota financing at 1.9%. I took the $1500

The most interesting part about it is that the prices DO go down the longer it sits even in the same model year. by about $5-600 after a few short months.
So an oddball color might save one some cash.

Most people in the US are able to get 10-15% off.

10% being common and 15% being rare. That's calculating pre-tax/title price over MSRP.

I don't know how far you are from the US but in my state of CA, February sales were low and they bumped the customer cash by $500 for March so better deals can be had.

(USD) For a truck with ~$45k MSRP you should expect about ~$40k before tax/license (including rebate if applicable).

Best way to do this is find as many dealers in your region as you can, get a quote from one of them and keep sending the lowest quote out to all of them until they start tapping out. Insist on making a deal over the internet, they all try to draw you in with fake promises to bait and switch you. Then print your emails and bring it to the dealer. Also doesn't hurt to ask for real pictures of the truck to make sure they have what they say they have.

Im gonna go out on a limb here, but the incentives that are coming will be the best toyota has ever offered. Of course if no one has a job or money i guess that wont matter.
